This 4-piece ornament set recalls Air West, the product of a 1968 three-way merger between Bonanza Airlines of Phoenix, Pacific Airlines of San Francisco, and West Coast Airlines of Seattle. Known as Air West, the new airline operated the combined fleet of its predecessors: Fairchild F-27s operated by all three, Boeing 727-100s of Pacific, DC-9-10s of Bonanza and West Coast, and West Coast’s Piper Navajos.

Despite a large route network that spanned from western Canada to Mexico, the Air West timeline was short: the airline was acquired by Howard Hughes in 1970, and was re-branded as Hughes Airwest in 1971.

The 4-piece set includes one each of the Air West, Bonanza Airlines, Pacific Airlines, and West Coast Airlines logo ornaments.

An artistic interpretation of the airline's brand is laser-engraved with exacting detail onto a cut acrylic snowflake crystal ornament, measuring approximately 3.4 inches (8.6 cm) between opposite points, with a material thickness of 1/8 inch. For best display clarity, the design is engraved as a reversed mirror image on one side of the ornament, so that it can be viewed with proper alignment on the opposite side.

As a gift, or as a treat for yourself, these are a perfect way to add your favorite airlines of the past to your today! Use them to decorate for the holidays, or to brighten up your desk, office, or special area of your home or work space all year long.
