Quebecair Acrylic Snowflake Ornament

This ornament recalls Quebecair of Montreal that began service in 1947. Expansion of both scheduled and charter services in eastern Canada and worldwide occurred with a diverse fleet that ranged in size from single-engine bush planes to the Boeing 707 and McDonnell Douglas DC-8, plus turboprop airliners, the BAC 1-11, and the Boeing 737-200. Quebecair was acquired by CP Air in 1986, which itself was merged into Canadian International.

An artistic interpretation of the airline's brand is laser-engraved with exacting detail onto a cut acrylic snowflake crystal ornament, measuring approximately 3.4 inches (8.6 cm) between opposite points, with a material thickness of 1/8 inch. For best display clarity, the design is engraved as a reversed mirror image on one side of the ornament, so that it can be viewed with proper alignment on the opposite side.
